The Saint Joseph Regional School Chess Club is open to students of all abilities in 3rd through 8th grade.

Beginning and intermediate players are taught the complexities of the game, how to strategize, and good sportsmanship.

 

The more advanced players continue to enhance their strategy and game time decision-making.
 
Meetings are weekly after school from April through the beginning of June.

At the end of the season, players participate in a multi-day, multi-game tournament where Elementary School and Middle School champions are crowned.
